The Heritage Walk is one of a number of events that form part of the Heritage Day Celebrations held on 10th September 2016 as part of the national Heritage Open Days. Plaques will be placed on buildings around the village giving details of their history or interesting features.

In our village we have many thatched and beamed cottages, many listed buildings, and a Grade I church. The Conservation Group have devised a self-guided village walk with information boards and QRs.  There is also a web page giving details of all the buildings on display.  Click here for more details.

There will be a separate guided graveyard trail and trail for children. The church will be open with access to the bell platform at set times.  An exhibition in the village hall will include a CD of village history, WWI scrap books, and information about our recent archaeological dig at the local mound.
