Bin collection days may be changing for many

Aylesbury Vale District Council is making some improvements to its recycling and waste collection services. There are a number of changes that are planned and AVDC will be launching a public information campaign, starting early June and running throughout the summer. Having recently invested £3.7m in a new state-of-the-art waste vehicle fleet, all recycling, general waste, food and garden waste collection rounds are currently being redesigned to improve capacity and fuel efficiency. Report a pothole - it's easy!

The roads in the village are in a very sorry state, not only are they bad for cars and their occupants but in some cases they are actually dangerous. Main street seems to be one long stretch of holes and cracks and Foscote Road adjacent to Foscote Reservoir has been designated a ‘Failed Road’. The property development company Catesby Estates originally proposed the development of 400 houses in Maids Moreton parish to land east of Buckingham (specifically Page Hill) and North of the Stratford Road.  In August 2017 Catesby lodged an appeal for a revised development of 170 houses.
